Oh my goodness! This month has flown by! My classes are starting to get more intense as I enter the middle of the semester, and I started working with the Dice Tower to create videos! Which is awesome, but I’m afraid it takes my time from making posts here. Who knew making videos would take so much time? It doesn’t help that I’m having to rent the camera and mic from my college, but that’s a different story for a different post.
This post is all about looking back on the past month and seeing what was accomplished, and where I plan to go from here.
I started the month off by creating a digital drawing of a teal-hair girl sightseeing in her local state park. Have you ever done that? It’s fun to have that wonder of a tourist new to the area and pretend like the place is somewhere new. It makes it so much more fun, and you learn new things about your favorite places! I also tried a new style of drawing hair, but I don’t know if I’ll stick with it. I mean, it is kinda a style that’s very specific.
Another drawing I did wasn’t put on here, but on Instagram. It was another crazy colored-pink hair girl going out in the night to meet up with friends to get some coffee in honor of National Coffee Day. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know that was a thing until it started trending on twitter, but since I celebrate my love of coffee with a big cup of it everyday, not much changed for me that day. Other than people coming up and telling me they thought of me thanks to the little holiday. 🙂
This month was big for the blog because I changed up the site and added some pages to it! I now have a page highlighting all the art creations I think shine out from the rest! Is there any art pieces I’ve created I should add to it? There is also a page explaining how to get in touch with me if you would like to collaborate!
Oh! Something else happened that I haven’t really announced on here yet. Remember how I have that boyfriend that keeps popping up randomly in my post? Well, last Saturday he proposed to me, and so I am now engaged! How crazy is that?! So this month has been ridiculous!
What do I plan for the month ahead? Well, I have accepted the Inktober challenge, so if you follow me on Instagram you might have seen some of my scribbles from that. I plan to each week have a post showing off the past weeks favorite piece. I might start a behind-the-scenes of Boards And Crafts, the little segment I have with Dice Tower. I also have a lot of Halloweeny crafts I have created that I can’t wait to share with you all!
As always, if you have any ideas or thoughts inspired by this post, comment below! I hope you all have an awesome month ahead of you!
