About Me, Blog Update

Monthly Round-Up: December 2016

I don’t know about y’all, but I am pretty hype to start my New Years Resolution this year. It’s going to be a tough one, and eventually in a future post I’ll fully explain what I’m up to with that. In the meantime, it’s time for a look back on the blog and beyond and see what I’ve been up to on my journey.

What’s Happened On The Blog?

We started the month with a look at my favorite art supplies. Then we talked about the pros and cons of creating fanart, one of my favorite ways to practice my art skills. As we got closer to the holidays I shared some of my favorite instagram artists that make my made whenever I see one of their posts on my feed.

About halfway through the month I found a fun site called Skillshare, and though I’ve only had it for about two weeks now, I’ve been loving all the new information I’ve been learning there. Like how to make a zine!

And thanks to that site, I started to realize that I need to focus on which art mediums I’m practicing if I want to become more professional with them.

At the end of the month, which segways to the next part of this post, I shared my first real post on my sister site Boards and Crafts to explains how to make your own Roll for the Galaxy Inspired Ornaments.

 What’s Happened Beyond the Blog?

I am starting to work on my sister site, Boards and Crafts, which will feature crafts and snacks inspired from board games along with some reviews of them. So keep an eye out for that.

Also, I’m starting to get back into my routine of creating segments for BoardGameBlender!

Sometimes on Mondays and Fridays I stream over on twitch while I play video games or sketch to upbeat music. Though this month because of prepping for the holidays I didn’t really keep to my schedule.

Finally, I have a few more items in my Redbubble shop if you would like to check it out. (Or click here -> https://www.redbubble.com/people/artsyrobotz/shop?asc=u )

That is it for this month! Thank you for joining me on my journey, and may you have a Happy New Year!
