Monthly Round-Up: March 2018

Another month has marched on through the year! But before we really get into this month, I’d like to take a moment to look back, and prep for this next one!

In the Journal:

This past month I didn’t really get a chance to have a bunch of journaling, but I shared a few of my favorites from February. I won’t go into to many details about it here since some of them involved past entries.

On My “Sister” Site:

Over on Boards & Crafts, I shared how to create your own perler bead coasters inspired by the card game Boss Monster! Creating your own coasters is a fun activity that can be done anytime that help add a little personality into a room.

I also had the honor of this blog receiving two awards last month! I completed my post for the Sunshine Blogger Award, and will soon be sharing the next one!

In My Shops:

Mourning Dove Promo for IG (1)

A traditional piece turned digital for the shop, this mourning dove portrait is inspired by the joy I feel whenever I get to see one in my daily life. Something about them just makes my day a little brighter. If you would like to have to piece as a print or on a product, follow this link to Society6.

Goals for February:

As some may remember these past few months I’ve been sharing some of my goals. Let’s see what I completed from last month:

  • Create 2 pieces for my portfolio. (Kinda got completed but I uploaded old work.)
  • Share 4 posts on Boards & Crafts. (2/4)
  • Share (at least) 4 posts of my journey in this journal. (2/4)
  • Workout 3 times a week. (COMPLETED)
  • Complete my commissions. (1/2)
  • Research for first project on Something Called Science. (Didn’t happen)
  • Complete secret project (1/40).

I don’t really have any excuse for why this month was unsuccessful. I do plan to work on my schedule and keeping my goals visually seen so that I don’t forget them. Hopefully that will help with this month’s goals! I think I’ll stop adding the workout to here, just because I seem to finally have a rythm for it and don’t need to have it per se as a goal.

Goals for March:

So this month, I want to try again on all of these so that I can work on becoming more consistent with my content.

  • Create 2 pieces for my portfolio.
  • Share 4 posts on Boards & Crafts.
  • Share (at least) 4 posts of my journey in this journal.
  • Complete my commissions.
  • Research for first project on Something Called Science.
  • Complete all tasks for each week day this month.
    • I have a bullet journal where I keep track of what I need to get done. This month I want to make sure I complete each task when I assign myself it.
  • Complete secret project (1/40).

How about you? What are your goals for this next month? Feel free to share your monthly round-ups in the comments below as well.

Thank you for catching up with me,

Jessi, the ArtsyRobotz
