Last weekend one of most loved series added the next chapter to their movie saga. Star Wars The Force Awakens came out, and this past Tuesday I had the honor of finally watching it.
The movie exceeded my expectations. Of course, I always assume that a movie I like will be bad before watching it that way when I finally see it I can be surprised by the film. (It’s a weird habit I formed.) Anyways, it was a fantastic film to watch.
After I got back home, I couldn’t help but start drawing one of my favorite characters from the movie. Honestly, all of the characters (and their actors/actresses were fantastic) were great.
But this man had so many great moments in the film, I wanted to try to practice drawing him. It’s definitely a more cartoon-ish version of him, but I had fun trying to draw him. I also tried doing some simple shading on him and ended up with what you see above.
I hope everyone gets a chance to see this film, and has a merry weekend ahead if them!
