Hello! My name is Jessi, a cozy fantasy artist living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Today for March Meet The Maker we’re talking about the artist behind the art. So without further ado, here are a few facts about me:
- I am a self-taught artist. I’ve been sketching since I could pick up a pencil but it wasn’t until 2016 that I sat down and started focusing on improving my art skills.
- I find inspiration for my personal pieces from the many forms of storytelling. I especially love stories that fall in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, slice of life, horror, folklore, mythology, or anything that mixes these together. Especially if it has nature inspired elements involved.
- It wasn’t until I stepped back and looked at my collection of pieces at my first artist alley that I saw a cohesive theme in my work, and is why I define myself today as a cozy fantasy artist.

- I am a third generation Booth Vendor. My grandpa sold honey, and my mother crafts and artisan soap. And I started out with jewelry, but today I sell my artwork.
- I strive to have all of the packaging I use to either be compostable, biodegradable, or recyclable. I’m currently working on getting my marketing content (business cards, for example) to also be compostable as well.
Let me know if there’s anything else you would like to know about me or how I run ArtsyRobotz down below!
