Hi guys! Hope everyone has had a good start to their week. I have not…Yesterday my head started hurting and the next thing I knew I was sick! D: But luckily I can still type up a quick blog post before passing out again.
A while ago I saw that someone had searched to see if I had created Team Magma and Team Aqua perler bead designs. I have no idea what they were actually searching for. Was is sprites of Archie and Maxie? Sprites of the Admins? Whatever it was, I want to thank them because it got me searching for Team Magma and Team Aqua logo sprites to inspire me.
Usually my process for making sprites is looking at how others have done it, and change-up the design for my liking. This is mainly because most of the perler bead creations I want to make are 8bit, so they’re not hard to transfer designs over.
However, they’re were only a few designs for the logos of Team Magma and Aqua circling the internet. So I started from scratch with these bad boys and ended up with the designs below. They are small, about a third of a perler bead plate. But they would be great for headbands, barrettes (remember those barrettes I made with perler beads?), brooches, etc.
This was a fun, quick project to do. If you would like to see me try to make the rest of the evil teams in Pokemon logos, comment below!
