Hi guys! If you follow me on Tumblr or Instagram, you’ve probably seen me posting my inks each day, or at least each day that I remember. 😉 Today I would like to look back on this past week and highlight my personal favorite drawing from these Inktober doodles.
Thanks to this challenge, I’ve been able to try a lot of new ways to create backgrounds and textures. Well, new to me. That’s why I picked the doodle above as my highlight. This witch, which turned out better than I expected, was fun to draw, but the background was a little more therapeutic. It was cool seeing what a regular ink pen could create.
I’ve been getting bad about forgetting to post these each day. But! I’ve been inking each day, and I got to say it’s so different. For almost a year now I’ve been doing about a sketch a week, so it’s weird trying to get a sketch each day. I honestly don’t know if I would be able to keep up with Inktober as much as I am without a year of just…doodling. So this is almost like speed-doodling for me. I kinda love it.
